Terms of Use

Please read this first: These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Montage Maker provided by Horowitz Consulting LLC ("Company"). By using Montage Maker, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Montage Maker. Minors are prohibited.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining account security and for activities under your account. We may support additional social login providers in the future.

Payments and Refunds

Montage Maker uses a pay-per-montage model and payment processing through Stripe. All purchases are final once you download your video, and no refunds are provided after download.

Your Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of uploaded content and generated outputs. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display content solely to operate the service. We will not use your content for marketing without your consent.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Montage Maker for unlawful or abusive purposes, including:

  • Illegal activities or unlawful content.
  • Deepfake abuse, impersonation, or deceptive identity misuse.
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of third-party content.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or suspected abuse.

Disclaimers

Montage Maker is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horowitz Consulting LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Montage Maker in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court. You and the Company waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.

You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to david@dshorowitz.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
